Wild Orange Peach Smoothie
1/3 orange juice concentrate
1-2 fresh peaches
1-2 drops of doTerra Wild Orange Essential Oil
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
3 ice cubes
blend and enjoy!
Wild Orange Citrus Marinade
3 TBSP honey
3 TBSP soy sauce
3 TBSP Balsamic vinegar
1 TBSP Olive oil
1 tsp minced garlic
2-3 drops doTerra Wild Orange Essential Oil
1 drop doTerra Lemon Essential Oil
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or zip top bag. Add desired meat and allow to marinade in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes (longer for better flavor).
Bake or grill.
Vanilla Wild Orange Cookies
1/3 cup butter softened
15-20 drops doTerra Wild Orange Essential Oil
white chocolate chips
1. Heat oven to 350 F.
2. Mix together cake mix, butter and eggs.
3. Add in the essential oil and mix thoroughly.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Drop 1-2 tablespoon of dough, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
6. Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft and cookies will be very light in color). Cool 1 minute, then remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack.
Store covered. Makes 3-1/2 dozen cookies
Variation: add macadamia nuts. Use milk chocolate chips instead of white chocolate chips (this is delicious also!).
Other Uses for Wild Orange Essential Oil
Adding a two drops to 8oz of water (or orange juice) for a refreshing drink. Eliminates toxins from the body, while stimulating the lymphatic system. It has very effective actions against colds and flu, especially early in the illness.
Adding a drop to unscented hand and body lotion. Aromatic benefits reduces nervous tension and stress, uplifts mood, calming and relaxing,
Adding a couple drops to my hand-washing dish soap. Smells so good, lifts my mood and makes me want to wash dishes!
Add a few drops to baking soda for a environmentally friendly cleanser that kills fungus and bacteria.
As an air freshener: Add several drops of wild orange oil to some water in a spray bottle, shake well, to disperse the oil, and spritz on bed sheets, drapes or upholstery (think Febreze®). May also be sprayed into the air as a fragrant, pathogen-killing air freshener for kitchens and bathrooms.
